Fox buys 'Metropolitan' script

EXCLUSIVE: Fox has bought a script titled "Metropolitan," three groups of detectives used in Washington, D.C.From Doug Liman's Hypnotic shingle, show continues to be produced by Universal Cable Prods. Liman, which has a deal within the studio, also produces UCP's approaching half-hour laffer "The Most Effective My Pants Back" for MTV."Metropolitan" script originates from Jason Tracey, who professional produces with Liman and David Bartis. Tracey was most recently a author for USA Network's Jeffrey Donovan drama "Burn Notice."
